This arch is located on the lower Salt Creek Canyon 8.5 miles from the begining of the Salt Creek 4WD road. The arch is located to the left up on the rock and has a span about 35 feet (10.5 meters). As most of the rock opening on the area, this one is formed in Cedar Mesa Sandstone between two layers,  white sandstone (shore sand dunes) interfingered with red sandstone (lake deposits material).
