Le Pont de Pierre

Le Pont de Pierre (Stone Bridge) is located along the well-signed trail of discoveries 'Tannes et Glacieres" near the head of the ski-tow of "La Bergeries" on Mont Margeriaz (Les Bauges Range Regional Natural Park) in savoie department of France. "Tannes" is local name for swallow hole and "Glacieres" means ice cave. This attractive natural arch has an estimated span of 8.50 meters. There are snow on the swallow hole under the opening all year round. The trail to the arch gains 400 meters in altitude. IGN topographic map Top 25 number 3432 west Bauges pleat F1.
