Oumrak Canyon Arch

This natural arch is located on the upper Oumrak Canyon (one of the major canyon on this area) on Meddak Region of Tassili National Park in Algeria. The opening has a measured span of 5.7 meters. Note Daniel Putelat my compagnon of many trip in Tassili National Park behind the arch for scale. GPS coordinate 25°10.905' 9°21.190' This arch was found during a 25 days trip across the remote and seldom visited area of Meddak Region on october-november 2007 with a seven dromedaries caravan as logistics.
