Imens Arch

Imens Arch is located on central area of Akchahere site on the remote and seldom visited Meddak region of Tassili National Park. The arch has a measured span of 2.5 meters. Note the camel driver and the dromedarie caravan through the opening for scale. The name of the arch comes from Tamahaq dialect. Imens means "Dromedaries" hence the name. GPS 25°09.794' 9°23.169'
