Grotte de la Chaire (Chaire Cave) is located near the village of Salavas on the cliff above Ardeche river in Ardeche department of France. The largest opening has a span of 12.5 meters and the second largest of the three opening has a height of 3.7 meters. It is located by black spot on the IGN topographic map Top 25 number 2939 west  Gorges de l'Ardeche pleat B3.
