Down climbing scenes

The technique of down climbing consists of descending into a canyon section from a small height (less than 5 meters) so as to avoid an obstacle or abstain from making a difficult rappel, or else where the belay ropes could become caught upon retrieval (ropes friction). This method is especially suited for descending slot canyon section. It makes use of the climber's hands, feet and even back and requires effective balancing of the body's weight distribution. It is not advisable for people with an overweight condition or persons without litheness. The technique is to be used with moderation as without any belay rope the slightest error can be fatal, especially if the canyon section is long and you have become fatigued.
