Though located in Arches National Park, this arch is best visited from Thompson Springs (40 miles east of Moab) and via a long, rough and confusing 4wd road. Covert Arch is located on the rim of Lost Spring Canyon and eroded at the end of a thin ridge of Entrada Sandstone. The arch has a span of 66 feet (20 meters).
